SKIN WEAR is jewelry that sticks to skin. It began as research into creativity and healing, and how the slow repetition of hand embroidery can regulate the nervous system. That research took the form of a bandage: embroidered silk organza, hand-adorned with beads and sequins. A patent-pending, reusable, skin safe backing allows SKIN WEAR to be worn anywhere on the body. No clasp, no piercing required. A fine brass silhouette with military clutch pinbacks converts the same embellished bandage into a brooch. One piece, two functions. Four sizes and skin tones. Now available through Courtney Watts Studio and at SCAD Bazaar.215.805.2495
